Chickenpox outbreak in Cape Town CBD where foreign nationals are being accommodated, but officials are denied entry!
Health officials from the City of Cape Town and Western Cape Government are trying to gain entry into the Central Methodist Church in the CBD where foreign nationals are being accommodated following reports of an outbreak of chicken pox.
They say a group of foreign nationals led by Jean-Pierre Balous, who was arrested for assault, is refusing them entry into the building. Balous has been charged with eight counts of assault and is due to appear in court. Health officials say his followers are demanding his release. Balous has been accused of being untrustworthy by another group led by Papi Sukami. More than 800 foreign nationals have been living inside the church since being removed outside the office of the UN High Commission for Refugees in Green Market Square in October. Police are monitoring the situation.
Police brutality becoming the norm in SA – Another woman assaulted by police, Sinoville, South Africa
On Monday 16 December 2019, two black men were trespassing on a couple’s property and the Sinoville police attended to the complaint. According to the complainant, Cherize Paice, the police refused to get out of their vehicle and ordered the couple to bring the trespassers to them. The woman said “They had the worst attitudes and were all very racist. I started taking pictures and made a video and the one male policeman came to me and wanted my cellphone, i was then threatened with assault. Brutal farm attack at Hartbeespoort farm, elderly man still critical after 5 weeks – This is the work of savages!
On 3 December 2019, a brutal farm attack took place in Hartbeespoort, North West province of South Africa.
Johan (60), was attacked in his home and badly assaulted and tied up. Andrew Brown, the man’s son, commented on social media, “This is how my Dad looks today 5 weeks after the farm attack. It hurts to see him like this most people know how he looked before the farm attack. To think that attackers can be so cruel and destroy families. Medical accounts are still pouring in everyday.”
The attackers beat and kicked the elderly man and then cut off his ear in an attempt to find firearms and cash. He was only found about 5 hours after the attack. Johan was found lying in his own blood in a critical condition and was stabilized on the scene before rushing him to Eugene Marais Hospital in Pretoria where he is struggling to recover.

Farm attack, man hospitalized after violent assault, by unknown number of attackers, Mpumalanga
A farm attack took place on the night of 17 November 2019, in Carolina near Ermelo, in Mpumalanga province, South Africa. The man was assisting his father working on a vehicle on their farm when they were attacked by an unknown number of attackers. The man suffered serious injuries during the assault.
The man was admitted to hospital for urgent attention. There is no other information available at this stage. Police are investigating. There have been no arrests.
Barbaric savages threatens to kill woman if husband tries to fight back during house robbery, Langebaan
Tommy Swift, 59, and his wife, Maureen, 52, were robbed, tied, repeatedly assaulted and robbed by three men in their home in Myburgh Park, Langebaan, on Saturday. The couple moved from Gauteng to the West Coast three years ago.
“My wife was traumatized and very hurt. They tied our puppy to her back and threatened to cut the dog’s throat if my wife didn’t give them our bank cards PIN. All her teeth in her mouth were loose as they kicked and punched her.
Tommy says that they were lying on their living room couches watching television. They usually wait for their son, Tommy Swift Jr., to come home when he finishes work at night.
“It’s just easier, because then I can open it immediately when he gets home.”

Myne Maatjies Daycare centre: Three arrested after toddlers smacked, hit with a broom at Randfontein crèche – This is inhumane, we do not even treat our animals like this!
Three people were arrested on Thursday after videos of toddlers at a West Rand crèche being slapped and hit, including at least one child with a broom, were shared on social media.
Parents were fuming after seeing what had allegedly happened to their children at the Myne Maatjies daycare centre.
Police spokesman Col Lungelo Dlamini confirmed to TimesLIVE on Thursday evening that three people had been arrested on allegations of assault.
This was after several statements were taken from parents and witnesses, Dlamini said.
He said that investigations into the alleged abuse at the Myne Maatjies daycare centre started on Thursday.
“A hard drive has also been seized for further investigation. More info will be provided as the investigation develops,” he said.

Farm attackers torture victims during invasion, victims burned with iron and boiling water
Four men detained and severely assaulted three residents of the Hekpoort area in Gauteng over the weekend. They were burnt with an iron and boiling water was poured over them.
According to Constable Gloria Maswanganye, police spokesman, a man and his girlfriend and her brother was brutally attacked on Friday night in their farmhouse. The man and his girlfriend woke up from dogs barking. Four men then entered their room and threatened them with knives and firearms. They demanded money and the safe keys.
Network 24 reports that the man allegedly told the attackers he did not have a safe or cash, after which he was assaulted with a wrench. After this, the man was tied up with his girlfriend and his brother while the robbers searched the house. The robbers fled with cash, two firearms, jewelry, cell phones and electronic goods.

4 Police officers charged with kidnapping, assault and extortion but SAPS has not suspended them and they still serving the public
Durban – The four Inanda police officers arrested for kidnapping, assault and extortion at a truck yard in Springfield Park recently have not been suspended from the force, the Durban Magistrate’s Court heard on Friday.
One will report weekly to the station where he works as part of his bail conditions while the others will have to sign the bail register at stations closer to their homes.
At their bail application on Friday, investigating officer Detective Captain Paulos Sithembiso Vezi’s affidavit described how they were arrested.
One of the accused placed a call to arrange a meeting to receive clandestine money, but the cellphone receiving his call was at the wrong place – it was answered by the victim who was at Greenwood Park police station reporting the crime. His phone was placed on loudspeaker mode while the arrangements were being made.
