Burning down their own schools has been a stupid part of black political expression for half a century and it is probably a good bet that these perpetrators are members of ANC youth league. It is certainly a trend when a fourth school in Gauteng has gone up in flames just during the lockdown conditions, despite supposed enhanced security conditions by the police and army to keep people in their homes! This brings the total to 22 schools in the province which have now been sabotaged, just in the 12 days of confinement. So what are they trying to achieve politically this time? The placement of pupils by the Department of Education has created new crises, leaving parents and pupils furious.
Cases have been reported from certain schools in the Central Transvaal region that are hopelessly overcrowded, which have apparently been criticized for evading the truth many pupils have not even be placed yet.
What is alarming, however, is that pupils are so misplaced that they are now up to 40 km away from the school they have to travel to every day.
The chaos that prevailed at many schools on the first day of school was fiercely denied by Gauteng spokesperson Lesufi of the education department

Cyril Ramaphosa approved the proposed education policy that allows learners to leave school in grade 9. The move will allow learners to obtain a Grade 9 certificate and enter the workforce.
Angie Motshekga criticized her proposal for her fierce criticism but it now becomes official ANC policy. According to Ramaphosa, the move will focus on integrating learners sooner into the country’s workforce and the country’s economy.
With a matric certificate already worth little more than the paper on which it is printed, the step should be seen as an attempt to “improve” matric results due to a large number of learners leaving school at an early age.
Educators point out that the matrices do not find work, and that the Grade 9 pupils that leave school will increase the unemployment rate that will affect t SA to be graded more quickly to junk status in the economic field.

As we have sadly come to expect from state hospitals nowadays, a mother and son from Nelspruit, Annelise de Beer and her son Nathan, had a nightmare experience at their local state hospital in Nelspruit, which caused the unfortunate 11 year old boy a lot of pain.
He broke his wrist at school in September and after hours of waiting in the queue at the hospital, a doctor finally put a splint in under anesthesia, but after the boy woke up another doctor said the hand is still not straight and the splint procedure had to be repeated.
He received anesthesia again but the anesthesia did not kick in and the boy had tremendous pain. After 2 weeks they went back to the hospital and a doctor again said the splint procedure must be redone and again there was no anesthesia.

Whistle-blower says school fabricated the English examination marks of grades 8, 9 and 11. He says pupils did not even sit for the exams
A Limpopo school that has failed to reach a 50% matric pass for the past three years allegedly fabricated English marks for grades 8, 9 and 11 in March.
The allegation about the fabricated marks was made by Michael Mosomane to the Education Labour Relations Council (ELRC) as part of his submission, which City Press has seen, challenging the termination of his contract by the education department in May.
Mosomane was employed in January as a temporary accounting teacher at Nakedi Secondary in De Vrede village about 130km outside of Polokwane.

Several parents of learners at the Grantleigh private school outside Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal are outraged after artworks of a learner depicting “satanic” images at the prestigious private Christian school.
Andrew Anderson, pastor and parent, expressed his shock at the artwork on Monday night after it was exhibited earlier in the day at the school’s annual awards ceremony in the school hall. This video has since spread like wildfire on social media and provoked widespread negative reaction.
