Na ‘n vinnige “pouse” het Cyril sy nuwe groter kabinet onthul, nog voor meeste van die ANC daarvan geweet het volgens Jessie Duarte. Dieselfde strategie wat hy gebruik het met die Zuma inhegtenisname: laat die situasie vererger en slaan toe wanneer niemand dit verwag. Maar dit het ook baie sogenoemde kenners verbaas. Na ‘n patetiese vertoning, in wetstoepassing en die handhawing van wet en orde om SA burgers veilig te hou, behou Cele sy posisie! Watse houvas het die korrupte minister op’n selfs meer korrupte ANC?

Senzo Mchunu, minister van staatsdiens en administrasie, sê die gehalte van die ANC se staatsdiens verg konsekwente en volhoubare verbetering omdat dit besmet is met luiheid, onbevoegdheid en korrupsie, maar terselfdertyd vra hy vir meer mag en verantwoordelikheid? As sy Dept. dan so sleg is, waarom bedank hy nie?
Mchunu het Donderdag sy begrotingsrede in die Nasionale Raad van Provinsies gelewer, waar hy gesê het dat LP’s Suid-Afrika se strewe, as ‘n etiese, bekwame en ontwikkelingsstaat moet verstaan word, in die konteks van ‘n nasie wat smag na ‘n beter lewe, na bevryding.

The Minister of Public Service and Administration Senzo Mchunu on Monday announced several changes to the ministerial manual.
Ministers will now not be allowed to pay more than R700 000 for a car, official flights within South Africa must be undertaken in economy class. The state will also no longer pay for security upgrades at ministers’ private homes and ministers may not spend more than R60 000a year on cell phones and phone calls.
The state will also not spend more than R5000 a month on water and electricity per official home. Ministers will also have to buy their own home cleaning products.

An ANC member of the party’s National Executive Committee, Senzo Mchunu, says it is black executives who are responsible for the condition at Eskom.
He says all that they have achieved was to do well in the failures.
Senzo Mchunu is one of ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa’s confidantes who are now out against Eskom’s “black managers”.
In an interview, he added that they would still regret some of their black managers who were praised as excellent executives and trusted by the ANC.
Opinion polls say the ruling concludes that Italians from whites must correct the chaos at Eskom while many highly skilled drivers are finding whites in South Africa but hated and therefore will not be used.
