During the first half of 2008, the SA Queen Modjadji was received from Germany at the port at Simon’s Town.
It is the latest delivery of submarines from Germany purchased by South Africa while the country does not have sufficiently trained personnel to use the boat effectively.
The Crawford-Browne activist says there is only one solution to rectify the matter, and that is to cancel the contract, return the goods, and recover the huge sums.
He says South Africa must immediately cancel all outstanding orders from weapons ordered under contracts and claim back any payments thereon.
This is Crawford-Browne’s response in the Pretoria High Court and probably contributed to the court’s finding that the arms scandal report was unbelievable and rejected.
With the finding in court, the door is wide open to start again with the prosecution of Jacob Zuma.
