The European Union’s African Union has declared that “rich countries” should stop storing Covid vaccines, to use for future boosters, which do not yet appear to be necessary, but should rather give them to Africa. A post on the Zuma Foundation’s official Twitter page, contains banking information and a brief overview of why the former president turned to the public to alleviate his financial problems. Zuma’s corruption trial is set to resume next month, and even though his money is finished, he still wants to get a revocation application against the constitutional court.

Correctional services have stated that Zuma is still in hospital, so it remains to be seen whether Jacob Zuma will attend his corruption trial on the arms deals, which will be heard in the Pietermaritzburg High Court today.
“We are still waiting for a doctor’s report because only the report can adequately answer the question,” Mzwanele Manyi, spokesperson for the Jacob Zuma Foundation, said on Sunday.

Way more than ten thousand Americans have contracted Covid-19 despite being fully vaccinated, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention – however they walked this back by claiming the data suggests such “breakthrough” infections are relatively rare?
As of April 30 there were 10,262 cases of fully vaccinated people being infected with Covid-19, said the CDC this week, quoting statistics from 46 American states and territories. While 1.6% (160) actually died, less than 7% of the patients were hospitalized with Covid-19 symptoms. 63% of those infected were female and the median age for all cases was 58.
